I love the videos.  Esp that they are bilingual.  I teach in in Spanish and English, but Spanish is a second language and sometimes I have trouble translating dance concepts.  Cool to get some new linguistic ideas.  I love your Hips on Fire work.  I teach Rueda de Bachata and love your ideas on that.  I love your bachata-bolero fusion and have shared your youtube videos as great examples of “chemistry” in the dance.

I am going to use the DVDs to learn more Kizomba.  I know the basics, but I always want more, more, more!!!!  🙂

Thanks for being such a great dance resource!

Dear Hips on fire,

Both Ramiro and I were inspired by the youtube video you guys posted. I am Indian classical dancer and started learning salsa and bolero from my friend. We decided to follow your moves to bring grace in our steps.

It was a pleasure to watch both of you dance. If you ever plan to come back to boston or new hampshire for a workshop, please let us know.

Best,
Madhurima

Cristina and Seemore,

We just want to say thank you for a great experience in Barcelona, from the cool dance moves (that we’ll have to practice), to the suggestions for places to go (even if we didn’t have the energy to do everything – so much to see and do), to spending a little time with us (especially the dance club – that’s a really nice place; it’s got an atmosphere that I don’t think I’ve seen much in Boston – we really liked it).
Thanks for Everything!!
Love,
David and Rita

When you understand how to dance and feel the music, you become one with your partner and start composing with your body. You don’t think, you just feel!
